Angela Krosik Fund

This award, funded from the Otto Harpner Fund and the Angela Krosik Bequest, is available on an annual basis from September 2008.

On the basis that the award is made to a full-time student, the sum to be awarded for 2008/09 was £6,000. The amount of the award will be reviewed annually by the Society. It is anticipated that the sum provided will not reduce below this figure.

The award is for doctoral research on an Austrian topic.

The award may be used for tuition fees or maintenance, or to assist with research costs (e.g. travel, cost of materials).

The award will be offered to the Institute of Germanic & Romance Studies of the School of Advanced Study of the University of London, to publicise through its academic networks. The award is for a student who is registered at the Institute for doctoral study.

The intention is that the award will be held by the same normally full-time doctoral student for a maximum of three years or until the completion of the third full year of full-time doctoral study, provided that his/her progress is deemed by the Director of the Institute to be satisfactory.
